What’s NEXT Live at CES – Day 1
Every January, more than 175,000 industry professionals come to Las Vegas to check out the latest in what the tech world has to offer at CES. But the annual event is more than just a trade show for large hardware manufacturers — increasingly, it’s a place where startups show off the technology they’re working on.
This year at CES, we’re highlighting those startups in partnership with Entrepreneur Magazine, and interviewing industry executives, technologists, and entrepreneurs developing world-changing technology. On the first day of CES, that included:
- Samsung NEXT president David Eun discussing how we seek out tranformative software and services companies, and how we can help them build, grow, or scale depending on their stage.
- Heal founder Dr. Renee Dua explaining how she’s creating a marketplace of doctors on demand, and how that’s creating a new paradigm for delivering care.
- NBA All-Star Baron Davis talking about how he has made the transition from athlete to entrepreneur and investor, and why he’s building companies that combine a mix of sports, lifestyle, and culture through technology.
- Intuition Robotics CEO Dor Skuler previewing the capabilities of his company’s Elli-Q elder care assistant robot, and the potential it has to improve the lives of those deciding to age in place.
We’ll be sharing full versions of those interviews soon. In the meantime, check out the teaser video above… and if you’re in Vegas, come visit our booth for more interviews on Wednesday and Thursday.
