Meet us at Tech Open Air 2019 in Berlin

Introducing The Podcast Studio and a discussion on digital avatars at Europe’s largest interdisciplinary technology festival

On the 3rd and 4th July 2019, Samsung NEXT Europe will descend upon Europe’s largest interdisciplinary technology festival, Tech Open Air (TOA) to host a series of activations in collaboration with the Berlin-based conference, for the 3rd year in a row.

The Podcast Studio
Taking place in a cosy studio located under the main stairway of Berlin’s Funkhaus during the TOA19 conference, “The Podcast Studio” will bring together some of today’s leading minds in technology to share the human stories behind their vision. Hosted by a top selection of journalists and TOA speakers, fresh from their talks up on stage, all podcasts will be recorded in front of a live studio audience.

Speakers lined up for sessions so far include Danny Lange, VP of AI & Machine Learning for Unity Technologies, and Karim El-Jisr, Chief Innovation Officer of The Sustainable City Institute.

The conversations will then go on to be published on the TOA.Life and our very own What’s NEXT podcast for audiences to listen, learn and get inspired.

The live sessions will kick off at 11 am on the 3rd and 4th, but we suggest showing up 15 minutes early to get a seat, as we will close doors once we start recording!

Digital Avatars
Samsung NEXT’s Nick Nigam will be taking to the stage on Wednesday the 3rd at 12 PM to host an expert panel discussion on the societal role of Digital Avatars, joined by Hermione Flynn of Mimic, 20bn Neurons COO Moritz Mueller-Freitag, and Instagram artist Johanna Jaskowska.
